Irvin began his career as a landscape artist. His nude portraits seem to bend and move almost coming to life before your eyes, as much as the bridges and buildings in his art seem to sway. His erotic nude portraiture is a rendition of the architecture that is the human body. Art mirrors life and life comes from woman, a fact that is portrayed in both Irvin Bomb’s paintings of pin up bombshells and nature. In his landscape work of the gothic towering city of New York, Bomb retains the same feeling, that you are looking at something inexplicable and untouchable. It is something which seduces you, with sinuous curves or dark shadows the feeling is the same.
